Regan Welburn has been well known in the financial services industry for many years with positions in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

Regan worked in the banking sector before progressing into a Financial Information Service role with Centrelink. Regan spent 7 years at Centrelink providing information and honing his expertise in the Age Pension, Retirement Planning and Aged Care.

Before starting his own business, Regan worked with Lifestyle Solutions Financial Planning before establishing Marathon Financial Planning with his wife Carly in 2019.

Regan is also known for his work with The Barefoot Investor Scott Pape, where he has provided Age Pension and Retirement Planning advice for Scott and his loyal following.

Regan is also a financial author in his own right having written articles for SuperGuide, Challenger Annuities and Lifestyle Communities.

Regan is the father of two young children, loves adventures with his family, is a coffee enthusiast and loves running (hence the name Marathon Financial Planning- he’s completed numerous 100km runs).

Carly Welburn is the Business Manager for Marathon Financial Planning.

Before establishing the business with her husband Regan Welburn, Carly established My Pension Manager, an Age Pension administration business which is still in operation.

Prior to this Carly worked in Human Resources, was a Regional Manager for Consumer Affairs Victoria and also worked in Marketing for Mortgage Choice.

Carly is the mother of two young children, loves adventures with her family, is a gardening enthusiast and hates running (it took a while to get the business name across the line).
